SLATE 2026

What’s at stake for the film industry at this exact moment? Is it crumbling before our eyes? There are more films, platforms, and content than ever before, but it’s so spread thin that nothing makes a cultural impact. Word on the street is there might be a national incentive, and we are still waiting on Congress to renew Section 181.

The current market has made me adjust and make this Slate of films my priority for 2026. Without cash flow, we can’t survive!

1. Folk Horror – $1.75M – Vancouver Film Incentive
2. Horror – $2M – Texas or Vancouver Film Incentive
3. Folk Horror – $150K – San Antonio Incentive
4. Latino Family Film (Evergreen Event) – $500K – San Antonio Film Incentive
5. Vertical Drama – $150K – San Antonio Film Incentive
6. Vertical Horror – $50k to $100k – San Antonio Incentive
7. Xmas Comedy – $700K – Canada Film Incentive

Priority once again is Development Funds! For this slate, the focus is $500K.

*Entertainment Attorney – Legal Paperwork
* Casting Director – Actor Attachments
* Distribution Sales Projections – Sales data
* Social Media Marketing Plan
* Product Placement Manager – Regional Businesses

The recurring theme is development funds. That is your startup money. The whole point is to leapfrog the process.
