Hey Crew!
What’s the difference between a pitch deck and a lookbook? My version of a pitch deck is a mini business plan combined with a production lookbook. Pitch Decks are what you present to your production financiers and lookbooks are what you share with your crew. A pitch deck is 80% business and 20% visual.
A pitch deck should cover the following.
1. Budget
2. Producers (have they managed production funds before)
3. Executive Summary
4. Synopsis
5. Potential ROI
6. Risk Management
7. Distribution Plan
8. Legal
9. Monetary Funnels – (how else can your IP make money?)
10. Production Timeline once funded
11. Film Comps
12. Sales Agent sales projections.
13. Visually compelling (start showing how your film will look and set a mood) etc.
I include all of this in the pitch decks I create for filmmakers! Send me a direct message to inquire or email me at filmproducertx@gmail.com
