How do you translate your screenplay into a business plan? Where a potential investor can emotionally connect with your screenplay and see the financial potential at the same time. Where words translate into numbers and deals.

Your script has hidden clues that reveal who your demographic is, what monetary funnels you are not considering, and the roadmap to profit.

One of my duties, when I get hired to do a business plan for an indie film, is to decipher the screenplay into a clear financial vision. I dive deep. Exploring the theme, plot, and tone of the screenplay and structuring it into the world of finance.

Each page has a visual anchor related to the script while supporting it with business lingo. With each turn of the page, the potential investor starts visualizing the film into existence. They start seeing film frames instead of pages with data. It’s where business and art merge.

One of my gifts is not only to literally “see” the film playing in my head while I read the screenplay but how it will reach its widest audience. Some filmmakers have a tough time seeing the full potential of their script and spend years never fully commenting to bring it into production. It isn’t until I start creating the poster or concept photography that they start seeing everything fall into place. Then I add core elements.

You need someone to objectively see your script and translate it into a business structure. If you have been struggling to finally make a commitment and need a professional business plan that visually showcases your screenplay consider hiring me.
